There was a long, wide, black ribbon included - which was an unexpected surprise. I felt this was a really nice touch. The dress is a substantial length, giving the skirt a wide radius - and a lovely full effect. I am a pear-shaped 5'1 so I considered altering the hem as it is currently sitting at calf length. However, I'm glad I didn't as I think this actually contributes to a truly vintage look. It's very feminine. The red colour is really bold and eye catching. The fabric is a spandex and cotton mix - so it is sturdy and feels durable and able to keep it's structure without being rigid. The waist line sits well on the top part of the waist to mask any hint of a muffin-top or hip/thigh lumps and bumps. For the price it is well worth it - as it isn't at all cheap in appearance or feel. I haven't given it 5 stars because it doesn't look quite like the picture. The picture shows the dress looking quite smooth and shiny but it isn't anything like that at all. The colour is deep and very 'flat' looking. However, the price is reasonable so it is worth the money. But PLEASE (!!!) do check the sellers measurement guideline, as this is really small compared to na European size (I'm usually a 36 but had to buy a L because of the chest measures. Other than that, nothing bad can be said about this dress.
