If it is the wrong battery there is a fail-safe built in and the trigger will not work so that you cannot ruin your item that you fit it in . **Q: Does this work hedge trimmer** A: no its just the charger **Q: Works whit the bosch psr1800 li-2 ?** A: Sorry...I don't know. **Q: Will this battery fit on a ahs 50-20 li hedge trimmer** A: Yes, I think it will but the newer battery will power the device for longer between charges. The newer battery will also power your older tools in the Power 4 all range.
