I have to say..... we made cupcakes and they were delicious. **Q: Is there a way to make cupcakes out of the donnut mix? I bought it by mistake thinking it was just another flavor of cupcake.** A: Thank you for your inquiry. The flour ratios used for the donut mix are very different than the flour ratios used for our cupcake mixes so baking the donut mix will produce a different result. You could bake the donut mix in cupcake liners just know that the final result will yield the consistency and texture of a cake donut. I found out I was allergic to eggs and thought I would not be able to have treats like donuts, cupcakes, etc. again. Then I found this donut mix that was free of so many allergens and I knew I had to try it. The taste is amazing and in my opinion, is better than a lot of other donuts I’ve tried. It is really simple to make them as well. I basically had all the ingredients required in my kitchen already. They are great for parties, gifting, etc. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, with or without allergens. I was so excited I ordered the cupcakes as well and am ecstatic to give those a try.
