Thalway Best Lower Back Pain Cushion Lumbar Support Seat Cushion Pillow

This pillow doesn't quite fit my 2012 Honda Odyssey seat... but neither do any of the similar products. It wraps too snuggly for my 5'4" 125 pound frame. I ended up cutting a wedge off the edge that snugs up to the seat on either side and now it is just fine. The strap that is supposed to hold the pillow in place is too short for the seat, so I have to adjust every time I get into the car. With that said, it is comfortable for my back and thick enough and high enough that allows my neck to be off the head rest . This pillow is really for my neck so that I can hold it in a natural position while driving (head rest forces my neck forward), but it is nice for my back too.

I wanted to like this pillow. It is firm and provides good support. However, I'm bigger than the average bear at 6'2" and 245 lbs, and the sides of this pillow dug into my back/ribs, making it too uncomfortable to use. Thalway customer service is outstanding, however. A real human with a real email address emailed me to ask why I returned it, and then gave me a $10.00 Amazon coupon to use for my troubles (I didn't ask for it, she just offered!). So, kudos for that. If this was just wider it would have been perfect for me. There are way too many lumbar support pillows out there that are too soft and just collapse, providing no support at all. Too bad.

I bought this pillow because we were going to drive 12 hour days for several days and I was already suffering from lower back discomfort. The pillow was very firm, so took a few hours to get used to, but it did the trick...my back was well supported and I was able to travel the many hours in comfort. It was not as comfortable because of the firmness as the one in my chiropractor's office, but I didn't try that one for more than a few minutes. This one also had better reviews and was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it.

I have a 90 year old mother with severe osteoporosis and suffers from frequent fractures of the spine. Bought her this support pillow and it has made a tremendous difference in her comfort while sitting. Will be purchasing more so that she doesn't have to move it from chair to chair. My mother is a petite lady so the size fits her perfectly. However, if you are a larger or broader person it may fit snug. Would recommend that it be made in multiple widths to accommodate different body sizes and shapes.Overall: I would highly recommend this product for anyone with back issues.

SORRY I NEED TO RETURN THE LUMBAR SUPPORT PILLOW.IT WAS BOUGHT AS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND. HE NEEDED LUMBAR SUPPORTIN THE CAR. IT DID NOT WORK OUT. IT MAY BE IDEAL FOR ANOFFICE CHAIR, BUT MY SON-IN-LAW FELT IT DIDN'T QUITE GIVETHE SUPPORT HE NEEDED WHEN IN THE CAR.THANK YOU,LORETTA SWARTZ

The cushion itself seems very well made, durable, and firm, but with the curved shape, the area where your back should fit is very, very narrow. I am about 5' 8" and 165 lbs, waist size is about 32", and this felt too narrow/tight for me. If you are small/slim, it will probably work better for you.

The lumbar Support was for my husband who has disk injury. He has been using a foam rubber pillow/lumbar support but it has deteriorated. He finds that Thalway Lumbar Support to stiff and hard. Perhaps it is something he as to get use to. Only continue use will decide if it is right for him.

The cushion is much bigger than I had in mind... And not very soft. But the softness is already mentioned bc it's meant for support not to cushion. And I have to put it almost on the center of my back, not so much lower down where the seat back meets the bottom of the seat.
