Review: Spacious, comfy and can take a beating. - Very lovely fabric and quality sewing job. It's rather spacious and can comfortably hold most of your commute items or/and some camping gear. The backpack has four reflecting stripes (two at the front and two at the back) which are very useful in the night. I manage to test it in some heavy rainfall conditions, and it seems like the backpack can keep your items dry for some time, but it's not 100% waterproof; be aware of that. Overall, a neat and useful bag considering the price.

Last summer, the stitching holding one zip came loose, but was easy to repair, and the bag is as good as ever!. When I wanted to buy one for my daughter, I could not find a supplier, so as soon as I saw it on offer again, I bought one immediately, and the quality is just as good. I may buy one for myself as well. I am so happy I was prompted to review this purchase! **Q: How much does the bag weigh?**
A: It weighs less than a kilo; it does not register on my luggage scales, and as I am away on holiday, I can't access my kitchen scales.  I can rally recommend this bag as a sturdy, well made article with strong zips.  My son has been using his all through secondary school to carry textbooks, so huge weight every day, and still going strong after five years of use!

A: Yes, my daughter usually carries 2 or 3 a4 folders and textbooks for Sixth form college.

A: Yes, It can fit lots of them!  This is by far the best quality school bag (and indeed the last bag) I have ever bought my kids, who are now using theirs at college.  The construction is robust enough for the enormous weight of their textbooks and folders to not rip, give at the seams or for the zippers to fail.  I wholeheartedly recommend these bags!

Very comfy & spacious. I carry shopping in mine so it gets a lot of heavy use. In my old one the waterproof inner lining broke up but the straps and fabric are still strong. The two water bottle pockets on this bag are deep to hold large bottles or a flask easily.
