If you're a content creator, teacher, or live streamer—this is a must-have. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The software and remote are worth the cost! *by D***H on February 16, 2026* I got it working with an Amazon tablet, though I had to install the google play store to get it to load the software (thats a Amazon tablet issue). Now for almost dirt cheap money I have a dedicated teleprompter since on sale the Amazon tablets are really cheap. This unit is designed for a DSLR type camera, but I found using it for an iPhone, that I simply put the iPhone on a tripod with the lens 3 or 4 feet away from my face and then I backed the teleprompter up on another tripod about 9 or 10 feet away and I have to look just over the iphone lens to see the teleprompter. Magic in that my eyes are no longer moving right to left. You really need to get the teleprompter far enough away otherwise you can see your eyes reading it. If I had a big lens DSLR I could do it all in one. But this works brilliant for me. The remote linked to the teleprompter software is amazing!!! Two issues: 1. I haven't figured out how to hold the table on the bracket securely. Its rests there, but I'll have to use rubber bands or velcro. 2. The software is actually decent. I use dropbox to send files to the teleprompter. The only issue is you can't make the margins on the left or right larger so you get a narrower strip of text. Though I moved it far away and solved the issue.
