They appear pretty well made. They are definitely light weight but great for summer wear. Now that winter has hit in VT (ugh), he changes into them when he gets to school. They wear very well as we have had these for a few months now and there isn't any issues except the plastic tightening gadget on the lace came off and is now lost. I may reach out for a replacement.
