Best sub you'll even own. Period.
Ridiculously loud. Firm, confident, punchy bass. Have appropriately matched ported box, with 8g speaker wire and a taramps big boss 3k. Sub can take on more. I have 2x12 vxf on my camaro with 8k amp and this setup is twice as loud. Love me some skar. I owned sundown once. Skar all the way. Low, low, low.

Handles 3000 watts rms. VXF is a Beast of a subwoofer Plus Value. Oh My God!!
So I Received my skar VXF 15 today and it is Heavy as hell!! Something close to 50 lbs. Lbs and it Replaced my 1 yr old Rockford PD3 good subwoofer 15 D2. Using a RF 1200.1. Amp to power it. The subwoofer is not broken in yet and already louder and deeper than the Rockford PD3 using 2.65 cubic square box..specs say 3.25 ported. Rockford weighs like 16lbs vs skar 50lbs. For $50 dollars more get the skar vxf instead Waaaaay better Sql/spl. Killer Value. Impressed!! Good job Skar!!! Now get me a Taramps 5k or Md 5000.1 next!!!Update: 10/30/2024. My vxf is still pounding away. But dust cap came loose, I used a flexible cement glue to fix it. Now in a 3 cubic/ft box and using a deaf bounce 4900.1. Very tough subwoofer.. I think I need a taramps bigboss 5k to max out this sub..

so I bought the VXF-15 d2 hooked up to a taramps HD3000RGB sub hits very hard only thing is I wish it had a flat coil and black high temp glue and carbon fiber like the timpano TPT-T3500-15 that was on sale for $300 but I got this one before noticing that sub but so far worth the low price when I had a Orion hcca15 also note the vxf sub has a six layer coil and only 2 spiders.

Monster sub at a great price
This sub is a beast. Give it a good custom built box and it will work wonders. Right now taking 3k rms with no issue and really wants more power.

Beast sub
Hits hard and digs deep. I have it in a 4 cubic foot ported box tuned to 31 hz powered by a Sundown Audio SAE v3 2500. Awesome sun for the money!

The media could not be loaded. Still breaking in so I'm only at half volume .this thing pounds tho and hold true to its reputation good purchase I'm happy

Needs to be shipped in a better box
Hits hard had to rewire the sub because when it was shipped I think a weak person was handling this and threw it around and it snapped all my prongs but I was able to fix them and this sub hits hard very impressive

Sound quality is awesome, best value for the money and my Tahoe is sure to break a window the way I listen to music, Scar Audio is awesome stuff, thank you Scar
