Specifically, remote cable boxes were experiencing a lag when watching recorded shows and lousy fast-forward and reverse functionality along with a fair amount of pixelation. After replacing my old cables with this quad shield coax, all of those issues were resolved!I wish I had upgraded earlier as we thought the problems were with the boxes or the cable length. Cable length may have contributed, but I did not shorten any cables during the upgrade and I'm glad I didn't go through the trouble of doing so as that would have been a lot more work.It is more rigid than my old cable, but that was expected due to improved shielding and did not impact installation other than having to account for a slightly wider bend radius in some locations.
