I really wanted to love this bag. It has so much going for it. Love the way it can be carried as a purse or backpack, converts very easily. First, I really didn’t like the fact that inside the bag the fabric is black. Makes it hard to find stuff. Just a big dark hole. The pockets for your phone, sunglasses, etc. are really shallow. The dealbreaker was the snap on the front. It was just too hard to find the magnet. I could picture myself constantly trying to get it closed. Pretty important thing considering I was planning to use it mostly is a backpack. The Wine color is beautiful. As I said I really wanted to like this bag! But sadly I am sending it back.

This backpack is everything I was looking for. There are 3 zipped compartments: the main one, the front one, and a small one in the back. It’s smaller than an average school backpack, but bigger than most of the “fashion” backpacks being sold at clothing stores these days.It is SURPRISINGLY roomy inside. When I leave the side buttons unclasped, I was able to fit: 3 notebooks, a large pencil case, my wallet, small makeup bag, and a mini- speaker— and was still able to zip it up to close. AND it can still fit in those small square lockers at work/school/gym. It didn’t fit my MacBook because of the height, but I’m not complaining at all.Yes, there is a smell— I want to say that it’s similar to that mothball-y type of chemical smell (?) but it fades away after a few days and didn’t bother me much.Best features: adjustable strap, double closure on main pocket (zipper + magnetic clasp).Not-as-good features: smell (meh), and the flap that closes it is narrowly sewn together, so it kind of restricts the opening. Regardless, I still love this bag!!

Gorgeous bag! Looks exactly like it's pictured. If you're planning to use it for school or work, the largest thing I was able to fit was a standard spiral bound notebook, not the larger 5 star ones. I wasn't able to fit my 13" macbook air inside, either, due to the length. However, while it isn't as long, it's extremely extremely roomy. I can fit everything I need - two notebooks, pencil case, earphones, water bottle, makeup - with tons of room to spare. I just carry a binder and my textbooks. There are three compartments: the large, main one, the one in front, and one in the back. I put my phone in the one on the backside of the purse.The only downside is the smell. My god, it is foul. It really stinks, but I've been airing it out and the outside smells much better. The inside still stinks even though I've used a hair dryer on low heat and blasted cool wind.

Love the bag but not sure of the quality. When I took it out of the packaging, I already saw the main zipper coming out. Picture attached. A little disappointed by this.

HARDWARE: Hardware is GOLDTONE not SILVERTONE. Very disappointed as I detest goldtone hardware. I feel misled because the hardware appears silvertone in the picture.ODOR: As was mentioned in reviews from others, the smell is very prominent. The purse smells like motor oil or a brand new rubber tire. This is probably because it is plastic and both rubber and plastic contain petroleum. The smell is beyond normal manufacturing odors. It is truly powerful. FYI, I love the smell of new tires, but this is beyond!! Cannot use the bag until the smell dissipates because it is much too overpowering and causes my eyes and nose to burn. Airing the bag out to see if the odor subsides.MATERIAL: The purse looks extremely sleek and rich in the picture. Up close, it has a slight plastic look but could pass for leather a few feet away. The straps are pleather on the outside, and cloth underneath, which I didn't notice. This slightly cheapens the look of the bag. Overall, I am fine with how it looks given the inexpensive price. If it weren't for the goldtone hardware and odor, it would have been perfect for my needs.SIZE: The bag is very roomy and has a small zippered compartment on the back, which I wasn't aware of. I normally carry quite a few items, and it is a great size if you plan to use it as a purse. I believe it could fit an iPad, but I'm guessing a standard sized computer would not fit comfortably.RETURN: As promised, I have updated my comments regarding whether or not I returned the bag. I sent it back today. Truly, the motor oil/rubber tire smell is so strong, I just couldn't handle it. I aired it out of doors all day, and still no change. Between my eyes and nose burning when the purse was in my vicinity and the hardware being gold instead of silver, I just felt this was not the right purchase for me. If you're questioning the veracity of my and others' claims concerning the smell, please trust all of these comments. I truly like this bag and would have reordered it based on size and overall look. IF ... it came with silvertone hardware and didn't have that horrendous smell. The supplier was understanding of this, and provided a label for free return shipping and granted a full refund on my credit card.

I have been using this bag for about 6 months daily and it is amazing! I love how it can become a satchel, purse, and backpack! The material is very durable and the zippers all work excellent! It looks just like the picture. There was a smell when I first received it, but I put some soaps inside and within a few days it was gone. Highly recommend this bag for someone who needs versatility and durability with style!

I love this backpack. Pretty color, and great quality. It’s the perfect size to use as a purse and throw in a book or a few essentials when I’m traveling for sports events. I like the zippers on the front and back for easy access to my phone and keys. The inside zipper is nice for ensuring things don’t slip out, but even without it zipped I don’t have s problem. I intended to toss this around on the outside surfaces a lot because for the price it’s easy to replace after I get my use. However, it holds up well so I don’t know that I’ll need to do that anytime soon, but I will probably still purchase another one in a different color.
