Great for Emergencies!
I love this radio!!! Small but powerful. It has great sound, and am/fm radio, flashlight, bright room light, solar panels on the top, a hand crank plus battery options. There are two USB ports and a place for ear buds and charge your cell phone...amazing radio! I bought two to keep in each of our cars. When I opened up the box at work and tested everything my two co-worked immediately wanted to order one.

Small, but does everything I want. Very cool!
This is quite a bit better than I was expecting. It is about 7.5" long, so not very big. The whole top is a solar panel that works well. I used the handcrank for about one minute (after switching to builtin in Li-Ion battery) and turned the radio on. It was a cloudy day, but I listened for a couple of hours. It didn't run out of energy, I just turned it off. The unit was fully charged. I also have used it to charge my iphone - it has 2 USB plugs on the opposite side as the flashlight. AM, FM, and weather band, solar powered, and charges your phone and other items. Really a useful item! I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Anyway, I am very happy with the Buzz4000. It works great and is nice and compact. All functions work as described. MyFolio customer service is also very accommodating. I will be ordering another very soon.

Great 3 mode charging for a great price
Worx three different ways; the crank on the side which is very sturdy and durable but requires a lot of cranks to run the radio a fairly short time, the solar panel on top gives it a good charge but takes longer than I expected but probably won't take so long in the Summer sun, and the AAA batteries which I have not tested out. All of the knobs worked and I was able to tune into all local stations and the volume is very very good for a small radio. It also has a Weather Channel which is great. All in all it's a great item for camping are for your bug-out bag.

Fantastic!
I find this brand and product quite superior and well made. There are several features that are very useful, including a reading light, and cell phone or iPad recharge ability. I like that it is very well made, high quality materials, and is light weight. I can actually fit in inside a purse. I also love that there are several ways to recharge the radio, and that the radio signals are loud, clear and seem to have an excellent range. I highly recommend this product

Poor sound quality but great functionality
I bought the radio for my emergency preparedness kit, but now use it when I'm outside doing yard work. For an emergency radio, this one has great features: multiple ways to charge, the ability to charge a cell phone, and even has a built-in flashlight. The two areas that could be improved are: first, there is a dial to adjust stations and no digital tuner. Makes finding the radio station you were searching for more difficult than need be. On the bright side, I got to explain to my young daughter that this is how we tuned stereos in the "olden days." Second, the speakers are AWFUL for anything but talk radio. Zero sound quality. If you would like to have a lot of functionality in one device, this is a good option. It does nothing particularly well, but has a bunch to offer.

Works great in a little package
I tested all but the MP3 options on this little wonder. The product works great. It charges in the sun fine. I read a review complaining about the sound being tiny, but feel that was unfair. They can't put Bose speakers in the thing, and keep the price point competitive and I found the sound to be fine for such a compact unit. I found the sound to be typical of a smaller radio. My suggestion would be to use the headphone jack, and either listen through headphones or connect it to a larger set of mini speakers. Then the sound opens up. I love the extra features on this unit like the headphone jack and 2 MP3 options for listening to your own music. Looks great for emergencies or camping. A true value. Thanks.

Really liked this at first, but after a few weeks of use...
Ok, I thought about this review - I dislike to One Star a product... BUT --!! When any person spends hard earned money on something --- produced in a country that has minimal quality control -- :( :( -- that ends up as trash, landfill, waste and nobody cares... - This needs to be addressed. This was used as a portable radio when I did ranch chores - it rode in a very cushioned and protected place on the ATV - When this worked, the sound/volume was awesome, but I could get only a couple of FM stations. Which was fine since I don't mind country/western stations and we are in a remote area. NOAA came in fine - The lights were bright, but the on/off button on the handle is in the wrong place. It's was too easy to turn the light in the handle on and run the battery down. Seriously, I don't think the solar panel worked. The crank did, but it was a heck of a workout for 5 minutes to crank that thing! But it did recharge the battery. Which then I was able to recharge my iPhone 6s enough to be used for short calls. Then the port the usb cable plug into fell inside the radio. When I told the sellers, they were very courteous and sent another radio no charge, no questions. So I used the second radio for about a month, but the tuning knob and antenna failed. What ever secured them fell off, it rattles around. I was hoping this would have lasted a couple of years... maybe this was designed for desk use only or the trash can? I now have TWO of these things that failed, now what? Just throw them away? :(
