It is high quality and a very good value for the money. The build quality is quite good, and the sound is fantastic. I have watched YouTube videos, repositioned my lower and upper lips, tried with fingers off and on. Nothing. If I could have tried it before I bought it, I would not have bought it. The only reason I am keeping it is to see if some other shinobue players I know might be able to produce a sound on it.
