The material is incredibly light yet feels absolutely luxurious on and not at all see through. For the last couple of years I've gone for Roman black leggings (same price for 3 of these pairs!!) but I've been disappointed in my last few purchases of the Roman ones, with seams coming undone before much use and more recently they've changed the size and I've found the knees to be baggy which looks hideous. But these have a lovely stretch so no baggy knees in sight. I thought with them being sporty they may be shiny however they are not and look perfect under my dress for work.
