I ended up buying another because he lost some of the parts, but second time around i got a gallon sized ziploc bag, which i encourage him to put all the parts in when he is done playing.Its been working so far, which is more of a plus for me because he is usually desteuctive with toys. The parts of take apart truck can all be removed with the several plastic tools provided. It is challenging enough for the kids to learn about basic engineering but not so hard to make it overly frustrating. The worked on it awhile and then took a break and raced the smaller cars which are also pretty cool (they are like the old wind up race cars but more advanced).
