Update after a week. My son Only had them on for two short rides and my the Velcro is already falling off two of the pads. The are also very stiff and the hard plastic pads are 2 big for his little body. I’ll drop this down to one star.

Really cheap and didn’t bend well. My daughter didn’t want to wear them after 10min, but wore than anyways because that’s all she had. Then she fell and skinned her knee even because the knee pads didn’t protect her knees well and were easily pushed aside in the fall.

For first time skateboarders these are great. Got these for Grandsons and so far they have protected every fall. They get up laughing instead of crying. Would definitely buy again.

The quality on these are awful. The plastic is super flimsy and definitely would not be helpful in the event of a fall off a skateboard or scooter. Don't waste your money.

Great quality for the price. All you need is an orange helmet and you're little ones are virtually un-scrathed!

These are fine for younger kids. I agree with some reviewers that the knee strap seems a little short, so we added velcro .We ordered two sets of these. I have a 5 year old who is a really rough and tumble, and goes pretty fast on a skateboard and scooter. These were not high enough quality for him, so we will buy something else. For my easy going, slower paced 7 year old, these are fine. They don't really shape with child's limb at all. It's more of a forced bend with tight strapping which sometimes pops off.I did notice the stitching on these is really uneven and one of our knee pads is way off center to the fabric so it's not an ideal fit. The kids like them though, and said they look like turtle shells.

Bought for my 8 yr old after she kept skinning her knees while riding her bike. These fit well and have helped prevent any other scrapes. She should be able to keep using for at least the next couple of years while she grows.
