Review: Perfect Fit, Extremely Durable, and Comfortable for All-Day Wear - I’m 6’0” 165 lbs and ordered the 32W 32L and they fit me great. They have a comfortable loose fit without feeling baggy, and the length is perfect with boots. The washed duck material feels very durable and heavy-duty, but still comfortable enough to wear all day. The double-front adds extra toughness without restricting movement and enables the use of Carhartt’s knee pad inserts, which I use everyday. Great work pants that feel like they’ll last a long time. Review: These seem to be true to size in the waist, contrary to what others have been saying - Don't listen to the naysayers, these run true to size. Not unlike the B11 models, of which I own a pair in moss, these actually run true to size. And I suspect that's the case with most of their outsourced pants. I own a pair of the b01s for reference, the USA made "firm" variant of the double knees, and while they're great, they actually run small in the waist. Because of this unique trait, you actually have to buy them in your natural waist size, for me this was 2 sizes up from my regular pant size (32 waist --> 34 waist). However, with this model, I ordered them in black in a 33 just to be safe, and to my surprise, they actually fit looser than the b01s I ordered in a size 34. So, based on my experience, you should order these in your regular pant size, if I had ordered these in a size 32 waist like I do with blue jeans, they would have been perfect, just as my b11 dungaree pants fit (those are a size 32 as well). I have a sneaking suspicion that the foreign manufacturers do a better job at matching vanity sizing than the U.S. sizing does. KEEP THIS IN MIND: if you are a thinner guy (I'm 5'11" 150 lbs) and you're thinking about sizing up from your blue jean size because you've heard about these running small in the waist like the b01s, don't do it. These mirror traditional vanity sizing. The mexican made ones tend to be very true to size (which is good!). Quality is outstanding, they drape a bit better and they're not as boxy, these are gonna do well for general yard work that doesn't require heavier than hell, tough as nails work pants like the b01s. They're super loose in both the legs and the waist (partially my fault) but they're also a loose fit cut, so keep that in mind.. I'm gonna intentionally shrink them in the wash to get them to fit better in the waist and seat, but right now, with a belt they fit fine, just a bit loose, haven't noticed any difference in length between these and my other pairs of carhartt pants either, maybe go a size down in length if you don't want them to flare out over top of your shoes or your boots. Go true to size in the waist, you won't regret it.

**Q: how much do they shrink**
A: Bought a 34x32. Washed it, put it in the dryer. I did notice a very slight shrink in the waist. Nothing a good wear couldn’t fix.

**Q: Husband works in the home inspections and we usually purchase Duluth pants due to the flexibility.  Are these good for crawling & squatting?**
A: Carhartt makes knee pads that fit into these pants. I work construction with a lot of carhartts doing Carhartt things and plenty of folks have knee pads in their pants.

**Q: I wear 32w x 30l levi jeans,  the size chart sez i need 38 size for a 32 waist. so what size do i order? the size chart is confusing.**
A: I haven't worn Levis in a long time, but I know my waist at 34" works well with 34 Carhartts. They typically are a bit baggy for me in the butt. SO too answer your question I ordered my carhartts on amazon in size 34 that's also what I wear in Dickies from box store. Id say order 32.

Great product as one expects from Carhart. I wear 38 waist jeans but got these in 40 waist as I figured they would circle the chubbier area of my body. Perfect choice. The higher waist fits me perfectly. Also the double front that I wanted for pushing my way through tops and briars starts high enough and extends low enough for full protection.
