When I started taking this vitamin around late November 2014, I could tell a difference in how I felt overall. If you have high cholesterol and having some issues with blood flow in the body, this is a good vitamin to take. I had lab work performed in January 2015 and the total cholesterol dropped by at least 10 points. The LDL-P (particles) dealing with cholesterol dropped by 393 points and the small particles dropped by 540 points (it went from HIGH to NORMAL). So this niacin will "flush" in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes on an empty stomach. I advice anyone who takes this on an empty stomach to be at home because if you are fair skin; you will turn rosy, pinkish or what have you for at least 20 to 30 minutes. This vitamin will open up the capillaries in your body from head to toe (for the most part). You might experience a tingling sensation or a slight burning sensation in which you do not want to be caught off guard....lol. There are people who are not ready and have no idea when this hits, that's why I say take this when you are at home...(coworkers, boss or whoever might look at you and think what in the world is going on lol).
