Only buy this if you want your child to excel in figuring out how electricity works in everything!! he’s not even 2 and now knows how to work half of the buttons in the car thanks to this toy! 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 anyways this is a phenomenal educational toy. Review: Requires 3 AAA batteries, but doesn't stand up to rough play. - I was unable to find this information here or on the box- so if you're wondering, it takes 3 AA batteries. Now that our toddler has opened it, there's good news and bad news. Good news: he loved it... the lights, sounds, and manipulable objects were fascinating to him, especially the horn on the steering wheel. Bad news: It shuts off with the slightest amount of jarring. We eventually discovered that this was from the batteries coming loose, so I cut a piece of cardboard to insert into the compartment to keep them in place (MacGyver?). But sadly, the horn stopped working, and I was unable to find a way to fix that. This all happened within a day or two of use. So I don't recommend this for a 1-1/2 -year-old, or any toddler who might be rough on it... which is pretty much all toddlers.

The batteries don't stay put so the lights and noises do not work ever! Don't buy this toy if you want those things to work. I have passed my window to return, or I'd return it now. I have to keep on opening up the battery area and push them flush into the area. Once my kid plays for a few seconds, it turns off again. Horrible engineering
