The tea pot is slightly smaller than other tea pot I use. I believe the clay used is a higher quality than on my more expensive tea pot.The strainer is on the bottom of the pot ,which helps the tea leaf from getting over heated. The brewing aspect of this tea pot I also lovely and does an exceptional job. The tea pot I definitely a bit more fragile than my main tea pot, but I mean this in an interesting way. Lastly the price point of this pot is beyond fair. I've been testing it in a few different ways. If It lasts (doesn't Crack or break from heat )than it will be a true winner. So far,so great.
