I had read that an ozone machine can clear up some very nasty odors. We also had some basement odors from some moisture, so I order this to try it out. I chose to not get a too expensive machine so that we wouldn't be out too much money if it didn't work, well...... BOTH of us are very satisfied with this little machine... it took care of both of our houses for the odors. One thing to remember is to only run it if you aren't around it.
