Review: This is my third Big Horn 15151 Tiger Titanium framing hammer. The first one lasted me about two years which is around the time I believe they entered this market. Two years of regular framing and general construction and is still usable. Quality is excellent, much lighter than other standard framing hammers like Estwing, Vaughn, Milwaukee, etc. The titanium hammer head is solid and the face lasts a long time while the hickory handle feels balanced and strong. I will note that this second hammer I ordered did have a looser head after using it for a few weeks. Reached out to big horn and they were already aware of this issue from a small batch. Seems like they are working on pulling inventory from desertcart to replace the small batch of bad inventory. They sent me a replacement hammer right away and it came with no problems. Just in case, I ordered another handle for this hammer from them and an extra hammer as a gift for my brother who is a lifetime framer. He’s a die hard Milwaukee/Stiletto fan but loves this Big Horn hammer. He likes it as much or even more than Stiletto, especially when you compare the prices. Excellent framing hammer, great grip and balance, handle is larger than most hammers in the market, and they stand behind their product. I will continue to buy from this brand.
