It felt sort of slick and synthetic. But Ive had a terrible allergic reaction across my neck (from trying a new face cream) that would not gone away, even with using hydrocortisone cream and Benadryl cream. My skin on my neck was hurting so badly and I didn’t feel comfortable using my cashmere and silk winter scarf because my skin could only stand something truly non-itchy. That’s why I purchased this. When I did use it, it was SO incredibly COOL and comfortable against my irritated skin that I realized it *really* did feel like silk and cotton. I don’t think something synthetic would have felt that comfortable. The colors in the blue version that I got are lovely.
