Telephone companies ONLY use solid core wire. **Q: is this wire suitable for underground ?** A: I bought it too use underground. I haven't placed it yet so I can't guarantee that it works, but it is sealed up very tightly in polyethelyene. **Q: how much speed does this cable support maximum on dsl?** A: If I remember correctly, it will only carry T3 data speeds... 2.8 mega bits per second. **Q: Is this cable flexible and can the steel wire be removed without any damage to the 2 pair jacket?** A: I think you can remove the messenger cable (Steel Cable) but why not just buy non aerial cable? The cable is flexible but not for running in walls or any other similar application.
