Review: absolutely excellent knife for the money! - im quite pleased with this purchase. i'm an absolute beginner at whittling, and i was willing to settle for a lower quality knife to save money in a hobby i didn't even know if i'd like, but this is a really nice knife. of course, as a beginner, i can't compare it to the nicer knives available, but im happy with it. it's quite sharp right out of the box, and i've been stropping it maybe every 15-40 minutes of use or so and it's kept a great edge. fits quite comfortable in the hand, and easy to use. i like the shape of the handle and the blade is pretty versatile, which is good for a beginner on a budget. ive managed to easily strip bark, make big cuts, and do tiny detail work with it. ive also managed to slip and cut myself, but that's just a bit of user error. maybe add a pair of cut proof gloves to your cart before you check out on this one 👌🏼 in the images with this review you can see the small details i've managed with this knife, including managing to carve out the eye of some yarn needles with the point of it!

im quite pleased with this purchase. i'm an absolute beginner at whittling, and i was willing to settle for a lower quality knife to save money in a hobby i didn't even know if i'd like, but this is a really nice knife. of course, as a beginner, i can't compare it to the nicer knives available, but im happy with it. it's quite sharp right out of the box, and i've been stropping it maybe every 15-40 minutes of use or so and it's kept a great edge. fits quite comfortable in the hand, and easy to use. i like the shape of the handle and the blade is pretty versatile, which is good for a beginner on a budget. ive managed to easily strip bark, make big cuts, and do tiny detail work with it. ive also managed to slip and cut myself, but that's just a bit of user error. maybe add a pair of cut proof gloves to your cart before you check out on this one 👌🏼 in the images with this review you can see the small details i've managed with this knife, including managing to carve out the eye of some yarn needles with the point of it!
