## Description

Roland Foods Balsamic Glaze is made with balsamic vinegar of Modena, Italy. Balsamic vinegar was born in Italy nearly ten centuries ago. This sweet and tart vinegar is made from cooked grape must, which lends the vinegar a beautiful dark color. Our balsamic glaze reduction is thickened to the ideal consistency for use on its own as a garnish or condiment for drizzling over salads, bruschetta, grilled vegetables and more. Or mix the balsamic glaze with olive oil and spices to create a dressing for salads or as the main ingredient in mouth-watering marinades. Since 1934, our versatile team of veteran chefs, food lovers and logistics wizards have connected people around the world to explore their culinary passions. Roland Foods imports more than 1,500 products from North America, South America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Review: FANTASTIC STUFF. I'm 67 years young and this is my first experience with any kind of Balsamic product. Now I know this isn't a true aged Balsamic but to me it is one of the nicest things I have ever placed in my mouth. The primary reason I purchased this was for dietary reasons. I was told to cut back on my salt intake after a heart issue. Anyone on a low sodium diet knows there is very little on the market that doesn't have huge amounts of extra salt added. Yes Yes I know salt adds flavor to everything. Salt however was used to preserve food not to change the taste. After research I found that things like fresh vegetables were going to have to be on my diet. I like veggies, I really do but with lots of butter and of course salt. I have been told that salt can't be used, just not as much as I had been taking in daily. Someone told me that roasted vegetables were better for me and tasted great. Okay so I roasted some potatoes, carrots, onions in some Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The flavor was pretty good but bland. I wanter my salted butter back. I began researching recipes for sauces to put over those roasted veggies to make them just a bit more flavorful and that's when I found it. Balsamic vinegar based sauces. Mix with olive oil, a little garlic , some french mustard and this vinegar and voila a great sauce to cover those veggies. Now I'm going to experiment further. I'm sure I can find other uses for this stuff. Roland has a web sight that has a slew of recipes. Excellent purchase. Only problem is I should had tried this vinegar earlier in my life. I purchased this product from desertcart without a discounted, free or any payment for the review. I only hope this helps others out in desertcart World
Review: I normally do not “review” anything, because I’m not qualified food professional. I’m just a woman who’s been cooking for most of my 70 years on this earthly plain. I’m pretty impressed with anything from Roland Foods in the last couple years. I tried this balsamic glaze (some in these comments equate a reduction to a glaze or a marinade), I used it in a bruschetta, as a marinade and a glaze. I sent my daughter in New Mexico a bottle for her to try. She was also pretty impressed. No, it’s not a reduction (even though it’s thick like reduction) it’s so flavorful and works well to tenderize meats also. A couple years ago I needed a reduction and I was out so I used my $110 bottle of balsamic vinegar and reduced it. It was absolutely wonderful. I will never make that costly decision again though. If you want excellent flavor, try this balsamic glaze, especially on chicken or a pork tenderloin. Everything I’ve tried from Roland Foods has been a big thumbs up. I’m impressed, Roland Foods.
