For me, it works like a pinky nude, so it can takes on the color of whichever lip liner I use. I love this as a base to use with other mineral fusion lipsticks and liners. It look me a while to find the perfect color, but for me, this is it. Just be aware, it can get soft in the heat and will break at the base if you try to use it then. The color is long lasting and I don't need to put more than one coat on to show. My lips do not feel dry when I use it at all.
