How do I articulate how amazing this story is? From the beginning I was an emotional mess. You think you know what you are getting especially if you have read the other books in this series. Let me just say, YOU ARE WRONG. What a wild ride so buckle up and hang on.Reading Dante and Cobie’s story is beyond beautiful. I either need therapy or a really good book club (haha). A LOT happens in this book and it flows nicely, feeling wonderfully believable.What I LOVE. Dante even as a broken-hearted, destroyed man still steps up to the plate and is an AMAZING dad (my heart is a gooy mess now). Cobie is the true definition of a survivor. This author shows that breasts are not the only thing the equates femininity and sexuality (clapping my hands). Yes even with its subject matter this is a very sexy read with plenty of steamy (wink wink). This author also shows being a child with Down Syndrome does not make you less than (amen).Quotes that grabbed me.“But then Mary happened. She save me.”“We were our second chance at life and happiness, and we weren’t wasting it.”So obviously not only did I enjoy this book but several themes resonated with me. This is a touching read with high intensity moments that this author always seems to excel at. Definitely recommending this book! Happy Reading!

This is the 6th book in this awesome Hail Raiders series, and I always knew that Dante’s story would be an emotional rollercoaster journey, and how right I was. This extremely talented author has given her heart and soul to this story, and it is a heartbreaking as well as heart-warming read. This is a phenomenal story, and I was captivated throughout. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers! Truly brilliant work Lani!!
