It is suprisingly small and compact and easy to slip into your bag or a jacket pocket.It is simple to use and functional.It has a huge amount of storage space/battery life which means you can record 180 hours of good quality content on a single charge - but up to 580 hours of lower quality (which is acceptable for recording yourself in a low noise environment). Playback can be through the small speaker (which is surprisingly good) or headphones.I've not used anywhere near 180 hours yet, but if you are recording say a conference or lectures you could capture up to a months worth - on a single charge! If you really need to, storage can be further expanded using a micro SD slot (with a 32GB card you could store about a years worth of recordings, based on a 40 hour week, that's crazy). But then you might not just want to store just voice recordings - you might want to put MP3 music on it (hence the headphones).Rcording time alone makes it a very attractive device, however, being voice activated means that its its only recording when it needs to and so uses even less battery. Very pleased with this. It contains a nice simple instruction book which was easy to follow and I was able to work out the functions and the buttons in no time. Like other voice recorders, it will pick up some background noise but the voice recording is clear and sharp and the downloading of the recorded files is straightforward. It also has a nice MP3 player built in.
