On some aircraft, the new A321's the boom mike would not work. So, I bought this adapter to plug into the airplane, which I plugged the male end into another adapter (that works on the US Air airbus) which plugs into the Bose Aviation headset. Now the boom mike works great and I have a long headset cord. :) no worries. It works now. Hope this helps!
