There's no arch support in the insole. However, I did not wear them often in the first few months. They mostly sat on a shelf as I thought they were just too nice for everyday wear. I did start wearing them every day though and less than a year of regular wear the faux leather is peeling apart all around the shoes, especially at the toes.
