Worth the money *by N***I on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2018* Great heater. I have purchased these in the past for a stock tank heater in my basement. I prefer the ViaAqua heaters because they are made of metal, and won't easily break by careless aquarists. Unfortunately, I lost all of my aquarium supplies in a flood a few years back, and when I decided to hear my tank again, I had to purchase another. I never had one go bad, ever, and I had several because of my hobby. I would highly recommend this heater type. Also, the temperature regulation is very easy -- just plug in, press the button until it hits the temp you want (say 74) and it will get there overnight. If you want to DECREASE the temperature, you have to keep pushing the button until it cycles through the highest temp (I think 84), then it goes to the lowest setting, or whatever temperature your aquarium currently is at.
