We love to travel also like to take day trips. This map book has the most detailed maps and area maps yet. From what I understand you can purchase one just like it for whatever state you are in. It is a large book, very detailed, even has dirt and county roads. We used it multiple times last summer and found many roads, beautiful countryside and sites off the beaten paths. I just purchased one for my nephew for Christmas too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was little disappointed in the amount of "detail" *by J***) on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2016* I was little disappointed in the amount of "detail". I have an older 1999 edition which I find give more detail. What they did in this 2011 edition is fatten up all the named roads, but what that has done is "muddled" up all the print space, making it harder to read. Just my opinion. I was hoping for a newer edition, but 2011 is the last revision. I also bought the Alaska issue too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Detailed Map *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2014* I bought this for a cross-state trip with my 13YO son in our 1979 MGB. He was the navigator. About two hours into the trip he missed a turn, but then we passed a lake. He saw the lake on the map and concluded we were off course. This map has great detail and we take it whenever we go on an outing.
