It also works with paper roll masking. **Q: Can I use the masker just for the tape without the film?** A: I think it would work though without film or paper it might be hard to grab the tape for the next piece. When I put down just tape, I tear it by hand. **Q: What size tape & paper should I order with this?** A: I use 12 inch paper and 1 inch tape, it's worked fine for most projects.
