The build quality seems good enough for the home shop. The ends look pretty well made and the plug is nice and tight. Beware that this cord is 10 gauge and will only safely support 30a, even though the plugs on the ends are technically rated for 50a. However, if you have an inverter welder, your machine will likely stay within that 30a range. This cord powered my Lincoln Electric inverter welder running 130a stick no problem for hours on end. The cord didn’t even get warm.
