Hopefully you have patience and ingenuity. The square vinyl solid platforms/perches for the cats are not very sturdy. Therefore, I bought scruffy floor runner material off the reel at Home Depot, am cutting it to fit, gluing on each square, so my cats' claws don't shred the perches in short order. We bought this as a temporary safe structure so our cats can be outside while our home undergoes a lengthy remodel where their access is very limited.
