However although size 6 was recommended I ordered a 7 which I wear in tennis shoes I did go back after I ordered after reading reviews to change my order to a 6 as recommended. But I still got the 7. You must order down at least 1/2 size or even a whole size. The 7 was very loose on straps and about a half inch too long. I think with a good fit these would be very supportive and they do feel nice and springy I like them. Even with socks these are too big to get the best from them. I ordered a size 9 and it was too big; needed to size down. As soon as I tried them on, they were too long and too wide/loose. The next thing I noticed was the feel of the sandals. Although they felt soft, cushiony with thick soles and seemed comfortable, the material feels cheap. Also, no arch support on these sandals. The flex grooves on the insole under the toes for better toe grip felt fine on the right foot, but was off, misaligned on the left foot and felt uncomfortable. Update: I received the downsize. They hug my feet and feel much better. They are soft and comfortable and look cute on my feet.
