A: I found an old rag worked well as I could keep the application consistent. Easy to rinse and throw away after protecting my table.

**Q: Can I use this product to cover scratches on my bedroom door? It's varnished, not painted.**
A: It probably will not cover scatches

**Q: What's the difference between and the wax/polish product? Can they be used together?**
A: I don't know.  I use the oil only to keep my teak furniture in good shape.
