No ducting is needed to install a Klimaire PTAC unit. PTAC units are installed on an interior wall with the back of the unit vented to the exterior with a separate outdoor and indoor motor configuration that assures lower noise level. The large diameter indoor tangential fan wheel and dual motor configuration contributes to the low operation noise and provides a steady and silent airflow for a quiet environment. Klimaire PTAC units are built to fit into a standard existing 42"x16" slide wall sleeve to replace other major brands. Every PTAC unit comes with a standard electric heater. Standard features provide maximum flexibility to meet any application requirement as well as reduced installation and labor costs. Klimaire PTAC units are equipped to work with standard wall thermostats and have a built in receiver for an optional wireless remote control. The units are durable, quiet and reliable. All you have to do is pull up the washable filter for easy maintenance; washable polypropylene dust collector filter offers effective air filtration and easy clean. Fresh air intake design and washable polypropylene air filter ensures cleaner and fresher room comfort indoor air quality. Digital display controls Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C) switchable setting. Every unit is built with a standard push button control panel with an LED display to show the set temperature and operational codes.
