**Q: how do i stop alarm going off at 5am and 5pm?**
A: I would suggest after it's activated at 5am, swivel the small arm beside the ringer to prevent it moving, then leave it in that position until you want it ready for the following morning

**Q: How can it be described as a wind-up clock when it runs on a battery?**
A: I can't be. It is a battery clock.

**Q: If you dont switch the alarm off will it stop eventually? I dont want to have to turn it back on every night**
A: I think it would only stop when the battery runs out. And it's loud... VERY, VERY LOUD!!! I have to leap out of bed and turn mine off as soon as it starts ringing or I'd go nuts. And turning it back on every night means pushing one little switch!

The clock is great. It is clear. It is clean. It has a light. It is very LOUD (even my teenage son couldn't sleep through it and we were very happy with it for 3 months.....then for no reason the alarm stopped working. Had to return it, but we were so happy we will buy another. Would recommend it to anyone except for those of a nervous disposition - it is cold. I would have given it 5*
