It gives a nice breeze and not too noisy. This is on low speed. Be aware the small set screw is loose in a box as YouTube people have said. if it gets lost just go to Lowe’s and pick up a new one would buy it again.

Works great. Bought a used one from Amazon. It was brand new never put together. Mounted it on a semi covered back porch. 15 feet away. It gives a nice breeze and not too noisy. This is on low speed. Installed this on our 12' x 16' deck. Works great to provide a breeze on those really hot still humid August days. It is well built and solid metal, and is pretty easy to install. It does make some noise, particularly when on the high setting, but that is a reasonable trade-off for the cooling.
