A couple of years on it is doing well. Flowered for the first time this year but no fruit set. Probably another couple of years before we expect our first apple. It is still small. **Q: Should the tree be planted in the ground or left in the pot?** A: Entirely up to you. If you are growing in a pot, you'll need one at least 15" in diameter. **Q: I would like to espalier train some fruit trees. Unfortunately the large square pot it was in was cracked and compost and some roots were hanging out. Re-potted it in a much larger pot. Good strong growth on an excellent graft.
