Extension Socket 3 Gang Power Strip with Individual Switches 1.8M/5.9FT Black 13Amp

I have now installed about five of these of different lengths around my house. They seem to be of good quality and are durable. My main reason for using these is that they can be fixed to the wall without being taken apart and also because each socket has its own switch and indicator light. Good space for a variety of plugs is also a good thing. They seem to be well made and well designed. They come with their own fixings. You do need a very basic competence with a drill and screwdriver to fix them to a wall properly but they can be used loose.

I have a vastly over crowded entertainment area, more than the average person, with around 8 plugs all powered at the same time when in front of the entertainment area, with upto 13 plugs sometimes needed. I have a 3 socket, and a 5 socket versions of this. Soon to add a 4 socket version. I have 3 real sockets behind the lengthy entertainment area, which were a pain to reach to turn anything off individually, now, i have these extend to the front of these units (in discrete places so not visable unless actively looking, eg one is screwed to the inside rear of a tv cupboard), satisfying my unusual power consumption ocd. Pros: individual switched Individual power led status per socket. Cons: none note: I do not overload any extention socket above their rated capacity, neither should you, as that can be a fire hazard.

This is the second Tisdlip extension lead I've bought, the other has 2 switched power sockets. Very well built, and quite classy looking for an extension lead. I particularly like the fact that you have individual switches for each socket which light up when switched on. Unusual to find one with 3 sockets which suits my purpose exactly. Another unusual feature is that the manufacturers enclose a small pack of different amp fuses with the extension lead. Very happy with both purchases so far.

Good quality. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I needed to remove wires to get cable through a gap. However the wire cover is fixed by non standard triangular headed screws so I couldn't undo them. I had to sever the wire near the plug and rewire with a new plug.

I use this beside my bed. I have a double plug socket which I use for my lamp, but I find that I now need to use the spare wall socket for more than 1 item. I often have to have a fan on at night and to charge my phone, I was constantly swapping the plugs over. So my hunt began. I ended up using non switchable extension plugs. When I found this extension lead it was the answer to my prayers. I was able to turn the fan on and off without getting out of bed, which is great when you have mobility issues and able to charge phone ect at same time. It's great having 3 sockets in this position as I was only finding single, double or 4 or more which didn't suit my needs in this area. I'm so glad that I have found this and just wished it had been found earlier as I often struggled in having to unplug the unused items all the time. This is 1.8 meters in length so also good for taking away on holiday with you. (You never know when you need extra sockets whilst away, I've found there isn't normally enough and usually in the wrong area for me) I'm always careful that I don't overload it, using it mainly for charging my phone, fan, Hairdryer ect and always switch off unused socket. Great item.

This item will be installed for a customer of mine to supply additional power points for her bedside cabinet. the beveled back switch positions not only makes it easier to switch consumables on and off, but makes it look more presentable than an ordinary flat extension when mounted. The added spare accessories is an additional bonus making the completed purchase worth every penny. The four star rating on its sturdiness is only given as not yet installed, but feels as though it will be.

I have now purchased several of these extension sockets. They are ergonomically about as good as such socket can be. They feel sturdy, the quality of the cable is excellent. The colour blends in well if you want the socket to be inconspicuous. Functionally, they are durable; I have had a couple of them switched on continuously for well over a year. .

This is a nice extension with all the correct BS approval stamps on it. It came with a selection of fuses for different applications and it all feels very sturdy. My daughter uses it to power her electronic drum kit stuff, so it gets a lot of hammer. It also comes with a spare plug in case you wish to shorten the lead (the plug on it out of the factory is fixed and has to be cut off). Overall the little extras with this make it a great buy. It also comes in a cardboard box which is better for the environment than a plastic wrapper.
