This waterproof jacket and trousers combo has come in much handier than I thought. We own a horse and although my daughter has a waterproof coat, when we get heavy rain, a torrential downpour or heavy rain with winds you still end up soaked.... Not in these.... they have been in regular use since they were bought and although both trousers and jacket have been put through their paces and had some heavy wear, there are no rips or snags and both wash up well and look as good as new. Both the trouser and jacket fold down small and are very lightweight to go in a backpack, which is great because she's also taken them on some day trips out with friends.
