The supplied expansion bolys would seem to be overkill for that.** A: I just used lag bolts **Q: Is the hose flexible? Does it get stiff in colder temps? Does it have a memory?** A: Only had Vevor air hose reel 2 months. I like it, I was reluctant to purchase one without the hose being rubber, but so far so good. I live in Florida, so I cannot answer your question on the "stiff in colder temps", I do find it plenty flexible and reels back easily. **Q: Are the ratchet and pawls made of metal or plastic?** A: All metal. It is built well and works very good. **Q: I would like to mount this on a sprayer tank that I pull behind my ATV. Will it work for liquids?** A: I have no idea. I only use it for air tools in my shop.
