A: Yes I'd recommend getting man size as he will grow into them fast. Youth size won't last him long.  The man size may be a bit long but if he pulls socks over them. My son is 13y 5'7'' & 8 stone. They are a bit big on him but he had grown about 3'' in 2 months. At this age they grow more than any stage in their lives. Best of luck with the GK trousers
