I initially bought one of these plate holders for my partners brand new car last summer, as we were fitting private plates and wanted them to stand out, without the distractions of horrible large borders and dealer-branded plates. We weren't disappointed.The many, many holes on the back allow you to lineup a suitable position on just about any car and the built in washers (you snap them off) are a neat, helpful aid. Fitting the holder will take 2-3 minutes.In terms of mounting a plate in the holder, it's also very easy. You 'land' the plate in from an angle, then gently flex the plastic back on the retaining tabs (either using hands or a flat screwdriver) to fully secure it - et voilà! Easy.The only consideration - and certainly not a product flaw - is security of your plates. They will be easy to nick if somebody wants to, shouldn't take a thief more than 30 seconds to take them out, just as it shouldn't take you more than 30 seconds to fit/removed them yourself.On a side note, if you're really worried about security... well, don't buy a holder like this! You should be using secure security screws and drilling your number plate, making it difficult to remove without the right tools. For someone like me, I work on the basis that if my plates are nicked (which has never happened in my entire driving career), I'll simply report their theft to the police, get a crime reference number, makeup replacements and carry on as normal (knowing that I have taken the necessary steps to protect myself if my 'cloned' plates are used in a crime).Highly recommended, far better than the other standard frame plates that open like scissors. I've tried a number of these and they are all of an inferior quality.

Really like these plate holders. Hard to find ones like these without branding or a thick border. Easy to fit and install your plates. Look nice and discreet when fitted and most importantly, no unsightly screw holes in your plates!

This product is almost perfect. It fits my Israeli license plate perfectly and adds a more minimalist design than my previous bulgy license plate.The product quality feels overall very good and sturdy, but I have 2 issues that I would like to mention:1- I wished the borders of the "Plate Holder" would be a little bit thicker so it could cover the edges of the license plate completely (more of a wrap around design)2-I wished the installation document would come in English, the plate needs to slide into the frame. Do not try to clip the license plate into the frame as I did.Because of the tiny issues mentioned above I'm giving 4 stars! But overall very satisfied with the product!

I ordered some new metal pressed number plates and I needed something to hold them with drilling holes into the number plates. These plate holders were the perfect solution. You get two, they have plenty of hole options for positioning and the plates just clip in. Very easy and simple to fit.

These plate holders are great, they quite slim and definitely not bulky. Easy to fit and square up. I have fitted metal plate so not sure about plastic plates. The standard metal plates fit perfectly.

Really like the minimal look. Fits UK number plates perfectly, from a theft perspective it is more secure than number plate tape.

Not sure why the other reviewer has issues with his UK number plate not fitting. Mine fits perfectly. No wiggle room at all and Im confident it will stay put permanently. Also looks much better than the ugly thick frame number plate holders with the dealer name.For reference, German number plates are 520mm x 114mm and UK number plates are (usually) 520mm x 111mm so we are talking around 1mm difference either side here.

Product quality is fine just that it is not optimised for UK number plates.The fit is, shall we say, approximate, and it is clear that the product is designed to fit plates snugly.My plates move in and out in the holder and I am left feeling a bit nervous as to whether the plates will stay in. We'll see when someone nudges the bumpers in a car park. Half expecting to find my number plate on the floor. Pity as the idea and execution is neat.Surely worth tooling up for UK size plates?
