Fast and its great paint
I didn't expect it to come with a little extra tube of paint, and if you paint minis for warhammer and D&D, you know that more paint is always a huge help.

Great for Priming Red Miniatures
The primer covers well and had no issues with its finish on resin or plastic models. The paint is a bit glossier than the primers I normally use, but so long as one doesn't plan on using the primer as a basecoat, this is a non-issue. This product is excellent for painting red miniatures, which can be a struggle with other primers, especially black. My only real complaint would be that the can seems to run out more quickly than comparable alternatives. This may be due to the volume per second of paint it puts out (which seems higher than alternatives) and my own inexperience working with the brand. Overall, I'd recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have an airbrush.

Great Primer, needs to be SHAKEN!
This primer is great, especially for Blood Angels in 40k, it gives a real Grim Dark look with its dark rich almost kind of burnt red. If you do want to use this know two things, 1. Shake the heck out of it to make sure it is properly mixed, if you don't the large and fine pigments won't mix together well and it could come out kind of gritty or create little strings (but this is true of all primers I know of), 2. Be mindful of the temperature and humidity, don't spay if it is too cold/hot or too wet/dry, if you live in a place of extremes I'd say hot/dry are the directions you should lean toward if possible. Also, since red is a generally more translucent color the undercoat can have a real impact on how this red presents, if you have a white prime or zenithal prime first and then this you are going to see noticeably brighter reds, likewise if you under coat with black it's going to be more toward deep reds/browns.

so i have pretty high standards for the materials
I started using this cause citadel discontinued is mephiston red spray. I paint blood angels, and while i am not a golden daemon rank painter yet I am striving, so i have pretty high standards for the materials. Pretty good stuff, can get heavy, so quick light passes are best when priming. Will save you countless hours in comparison to basing with black. One drawback- it is glossier than mephiston red, so after you drop in your shadow washes it is necessary to retouch the whole model to ensure consistency, but still the time saved by basing red is invaluable.

Way too powdery
If you don't cover all surfaces within 5' of what you're spraying, a fine mist will show exactly where you failed to cover my deck and purchase of a wire brush is testament to that. Definitely not worth the price in can quality compared to a 8$ can of rustoleum.

True FLAT red primer.
One of the few true FLAT red spray paints on the market. 99% of retailers (including big box stores), don't sell any other alternative or any other FLAT red paint.$20 a can is steep though. Gamesworkshops flat red goes for $20 as well though, so it may just be a niche market.

Red?!?!?!?!
BEWARE!!! (Chaotic Red only)I used this to prime some models, with the intention of cheating on a base coat and just adding highlights and detail by hand so I could mass produce getting a new army table ready. The color is brown. I will still be able to make it work, but think more dry blood brown than any shade of red.

Good quality red base coat for Warhammer Scenery
I bought this to basecoat some warhammer 40K scenery. It is cheaper than Citadel spray, and Amazon don't charge extra for postage of liquids with Prime so I went with Army Painter. It goes on nicely and has good coverage. The colour is good as a base for any scenery you might want to be red and none of the Citadel or Vallejo paints I used on top had any problems, including mettallics (I've not used any new fangled speed paints).I did feel that it ran out a bit too quickly, but maybe it was just my expectations were too high. Hard to say. I will probably try something else next time, just to see how it compares - which means I may edit this later.Overall I found this to be a good quality red base coat for Warhammer Scenery.

Worked well, Quick and Easy
It sprayed just like the paint bottle’s colour (dragon red), so it is 1-to-1. I got it for CA$33, which was fine, and it arrived almost a week early.

Brown and broken
Difficult to open. Sprays fine. The spray cap broke first use very easily. Comes out more towards brown than the advertised red
