Found out there are two kill switches on the sides that prevent the unit from running with no filter in. The cardboard stuff used to construct the sides of the filter are really soft, so the kill switches sorta push into them rather than being pushed back to allow the unit to run. The solution was to jamb a little piece of paper at each switch to make the unit turn on. The original filter sides are much stronger. Ultimate I'm happy with the price reduction so the filter stays. ### ⭐ Does not fit GermGaurdian *by L***T on July 26, 2018* 2nd one I have tried and had to return as it does not work in the GermGuardian. It looks the same but machine will not turn on when you insert this filter.
