I actually partly dismantled it and pressure washed what I could reach, but no change.A litre of white vinegar left in it for a couple of hours and then rinsed out certainly helped but I did that four times and it didn't remove the smell, which was going into the clothes being dried.I sprayed this in and at first I thought nothing had happened.But over a fortnight the smell slowly declined until it disappeared completely!I've sprayed a bit in there now and then for the last year or so and it's never returned.
