The first time I attempted heatless curls was with a dressing gown rope and the curls were so tight and frizzy, I looked like I had a perm! However when I tried this, I wrapped my hair around with a bit of space in between each wrap around and this gave me a lovely loose wave! Oh and rather than having it closer to my face, I had it more central and closer to my crown so it looked a little more even and not so curly at the front! I also put a silk bonnet over the top to help with frizz and they turned out really nicely. I’m looking forward to my hair getting a little longer as I think they’ll be even better then. One thing I will say is it’s just a little uncomfortable. I’m a side sleeper and do struggle with having anything on my face or head or anything while I sleep and this isn’t great for that. I did kind of get used to it, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the comfort side of things! It also tugs a little on the underneath hairs when I move around, but I think that’s due to me not wrapping my hair tightly around!
